Originating back to the 1930’s as being attached to Universal Films and after many acquisitions such as the Polygram buyout during the 1990’s Universal Music Group was formed through this. Artists signed to Universal Music Group labels includes successful artists such as Kanye West, Taylor Swift and Lil Wayne.

Sony Music Entertainment (Major Label)
Founded in 1929 as the American Record Corporation and then renamed in 1938 to the Colombia Recording Corporation, finally being bought out in 1987 by the Sony Corporation renaming it as Sony Music Entertainment in 1991. Its current roster of artists includes names such as Calvin Harris, Beyonce and A$AP Rocky.

Founded in 1958 Warner Music Group is an American multinational entertainment and record label conglomerate based in New York City. Artists signed to the Warner Music Group label includes names such as Madonna, Wiz Khalifa and Rita Ora.

Founded in 1989 by Richard Russell, Tim Palmer and Nick Halkes XL recordings is an English Independent label that when originally founded was a label dedicated to the booming dance and rave music culture in the UK during the 1980’s and 1990’s. Current artists signed to XL Recordings today include The Prodigy, Tyler, The Creator and Wiley.

Founded in 2007 by DJ’s A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs Fool’s Gold is an independent record label based in Brooklyn, New York. Artists signed to label include those such as Danny Brown and Duck Sauce.

Conclusion
In my opinion I feel that the most suitable record label for our music video would be KIDinaKORNER. This is due to the fact that KIDinaKORNER, distributed by Universal and Interscope is a music label based in Los Angeles which specialises in various rock genres, including alternative rock. Therefore I feel that it would be the most suitable as it has generated so much success via raising artists such as imagine dragons and Skylar Grey. Additionally it is known for allowing prominent acts to reach their destined levels of success, therefore proving as a perfect label for our band to be signed with.
