​After finishing our rough cut for our music video we displayed it to an audience for it to be reviewed to gain feedback. The feedback that we received was given in written form as displayed by the images on this page, it displays the positive and negatives of our music video as well as a reflection on the piece as a whole. Furthermore we ensured that we got feedback from our target audience as well as fellow media students in our class, this was because they would be able to establish if there was the link between the video and the genre, judging whether these two things complemented each other and provided that realistic look in which we wanted. From having feedback upon our rough cut we used it to our advantage and found it really helpful as it helped provide us with things in which we could do better in the final cut. Additionally with having an audience such as media students to review our rough cut it allowed us to have quality feedback upon the specifics such as editing and filming techniques that we need to touch up on or include in future. Also by having our target audience review our rough cut it allowed us to gain feedback upon establishing the alternative rock genre through our music video and their feedback allowed us to see if we were accurately representing it.
