Reflecting upon the reasons for why I specifically picked out all of these videos is because I feel that they are all unique to one another in terms of the conventions used with in each of them. Examples included The Flatbush Zombies music video This Is It as the use of its simple location/backdrop allows for the specific focus upon the artists and a clear delivery of their lyrics to the audience. Other examples in include the use of editing effects that I haven’t seen before, that being within Bones TheDifferenceBetweenUs video where Venetian blinds are placed above a green screen, allowing for a shutter effect to be created. I feel that this is influential as it could be an effect that our group could possibly experiment with during the creation of our music video.
