With my magazine being a hip hop genre based music magazine it is key that I make sure that I can relate towards the audience with legendary and iconic artists that have stood as idols within the hip hop culture. To demonstrate this I have linked some of the most pioneering and career defining songs over the last few decades which really do represent hip hop in all aspects. Furthermore these are the type of artists in which my target audience would expect to see within my magazine, therefore I have gained an understanding that I should include pioneering artists who have really have done something for the hip hop culture. In addition to that by including pioneering artist interviews it will allow my magazine to have exclusive content which will allow the audience to be drawn in easier as they will understand that only my magazine has that content.
