XXL
XXL is an American hip hop magazine founded in 1997, it heavily focuses upon the hip hop genre of music catching up with hip hop artists, current affairs and new releases. It is usually composed of monthly issues containing around 70-90 pages which is priced between £3.50 - £4.40

The Source
The Source is an American hip hop culture and politics magazine which was founded in 1988 it is known as the world’s longest running rap periodical. Its ten yearly issues focus upon newly released albums and current affairs occurring in the hip hop world, each issue is priced between £4.50-£4.90 and contains around 80-100 pages.

Vibe
Vibe is a R&B magazine founded in 1993 with a frequency that runs quarterly, therefore only releasing an issue containing 60-80 pages priced at between £5-£5.30 every two months. Vibes quarterly issues usually deliver content which relates to American R&B and hip hop music as well as entertainment too.

My Understanding
From the magazines that I have analysed for their prices and page numbers I have managed to gain an understanding of the differentiating prices and number of pages between quarterly and monthly magazines. My magazine will be monthly, therefore It will be priced at £4.39 for each issue containing 110 pages.
