With the 16 names in which I came up with for my magazine I then created a survey and went round my media class and common room to agree on a music magazine name with my peers. After the survey was complete it was the name “MIX” that took the winning vote. I feel that it is a good decision to name my magazine MIX due to the fact that it relates towards mixtapes and remixes. Something that is very key to the hip hop genre of music due to the fact that hip hop artists release mixtapes and sample other songs to make their own mixes of them.
